Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Direct the activities through subordinates of all Manufacturing personnel including production, materials, safety, employee relations, quality, manufacturing, receiving and shipping; maintain a smooth flow of work; plan for capacity; achieve customer delivery dates; support Company profitability. Liaises with Order Management, Purchasing, Planning and Engineering personnel to prioritize and advise of work activities in the Manufacturing area. Administers policies and programs plant-wide that ensure the most economic and efficient use of equipment, facilities and human resources. Responsible for the accurate and timely filing of paid invoices on scheduled basis Ensure assigned End of Month duties are completed as scheduled Record and report vendor changes as needed. Ensure invoices are matched to proper vendors Ensure vendor records are maintained for addresses, payment terms, and W-9 information Responsible for communication with vendors on discrepancies and open credit memos; maintain relationships on a pro-active basis.
