Program Manager

Details: Job Summary CLEAResult is seeking a Program Manager to support its Michigan efficiency programs. This position is responsible for achievement of all client-specified objectives and deliverables, as well as for making progress toward long-term client and CLEAResult goals. The successful candidate will report directly to the local Manager who oversees the operations and coordinate with the multiple business unit departments. Primary Responsibilities Develops and reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources for various phases of project. Coordinates with senior management to establish work plan and staffing for each phase of projects and programs, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Provides ongoing technical advice and resolves problems. Develops and accurately tracks program budgets and metrics to ensure the appropriate level of effort is being spent considering the program goals and resources. Accurately forecasts spending (staff time and direct costs) and revenues for assigned programs and portfolios. Monitors and forecasts profitability of projects and programs. Effectively directs and coordinates activities of project staff and subcontractors on large programs to ensure successful outcomes on schedule and within prescribed budget. Monitors work flow and performance of all project team members and provides needed guidance and feedback on assignments. (Senior Project Managers only) Develops, reviews and monitors status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares timely, accurate, and meaningful project reports for management, client, or others. Leads project team to develop and manage marketing and program implementation strategies to achieve project goals and motivate customers to implement resource efficiency projects. Coordinates with clients on contractual requirements and program integration with broader energy efficiency programs in the sector, in coordination with Director or Vice President. Oversees and participates in project implementation, including development of reports and project deliverables. Develops efficient strategies to meet customer and project needs with efficient use of staff time, travel, and other resources. Accurately tracks program metrics including participation, contact information, project status, energy savings, goals, and budget expenditures. Forges relationships with industry leaders and high‐level client/customer contacts to implement cost‐effective resource efficiency solutions. Effectively and independently represents CLEAResult at strategic or complex customer meetings, conferences, and industry events in a professional manner. Performs program‐level quality assurance—prioritizing which deliverables require review and at what level—and provides quality assurance leadership within the company. Ensures program delivery above client and customer expectations.
