Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Details: Summary : Supervisemultiple building trades and ability to do so in a unionized environment.Supervise the Facilities maintenance trades in the daily repair and maintenanceof all buildings, grounds, and related equipment in the Theme, Water, andSafari Parks. Prove the ability to inspect and identify defects in equipmentand work with the maintenance team to repair and document repairs. Key Duties andResponsibilities: Supervise the Facilities maintenance staff in the repairs of all building interior and exterior finishes, food service equipment, plumbing and electrical repairs. Oversee in-house and Capital project work and work with trade foremen and journeymen to ensure projects are completed on time and budget Inspect buildings and attractions and notify management of any hazards, defects, or guest-related problems that may endanger the guest, staff or the general public. Keep all budgets, purchasing records and documentation updated daily, accessible and organized. Insure that State and Township Regulations are complied with and documented. Operate within the policies and procedures of Six Flags. Maintain good maintenance standards to ensure buildings, grounds and attractions are safe and visually in compliance with manufacture’s, guest and Six Flag’s expectations. Report, advise and/or work in conjunction with other Facilities staff, in a Team environment, solving park-related problems. Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders repeatedly, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and work overhead using both hands. Assist in ride evacuations, lift fifty pounds without injury and work in the elements. Water park staff must be able to see and identify colors and swim. Possess the ability to work at heights above 208’ above grade. Be able to read, write, add, subtract, work with fractional and decimal system and implement maintenance, safety and inspection procedures.
