Details: Candidate will be expected to have knowledge of repair and maintenance processes for company equipment and vehicles, while maintaining safe, compliant and efficient operations.  Repairs and maintains trucks and heavy mobile equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Ensures proper preventive maintenance and repairs for all equipment under direction of supervisor.  Maintains all required records, permits and licenses.  Operates fixed and mobile equipment as necessary.  Complies with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other company policies, procedures and requirements  Candidate will be expected to have computer skills.  Candidates must maintain a valid Driver’s License, preferably a Class “A” or Class “B” commercial driver’s license.  Excellent defensive driving skills and the ability to maintain satisfactory customer and public relations in performance of duties is required.  Driving record must meet Vulcan Materials Company’s standard requirements.
