External Reporting Manager
Details: Our Accounting team is looking for an External Reporting Manager to oversee the preparation of reporting for Company financial filings. OVERVIEW As the External Reporting Manager, you'll take the lead in preparation of both internal and external reporting of Company financial filings including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, Proxy, 8-Ks, SX 3-14 statements and Section 16 filings (Form 3s and 4s). You'll prepare and review consolidated financial statements for external and SEC reporting in compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and all other legal, regulatory, and Company policies and procedures including XBRL. You'll also prepare and review the consolidated cash flow position, non-controlling interest, EPS, stock based compensation, and equity transactions. You'll collaborate in the development of required reports, and oversee areas of individual specialization in the review of financial statements and preparation of internal management reports as assigned. JOB DUTIES Provide technical accounting consultation and support to internal parties regarding US GAAP and practical implementation thereof. Review external reporting consolidated financial statements. Prepare drafts of required SEC filings, including forms 10-Q, Proxy, and 10-K for review by senior financial executives; prepare all schedules required to support filings. Coordinate review of external documents by outside accountants, outside counsel, internal auditors, tax, audit committee and board members, and Edgarization of document. Complete accounting entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers related to stock-based compensation and equity transactions. Prepare and review workpapers for quarterly reviews and annual audits that analyze current period/prior period account balance. Perform complex, multi-entry tasks that involve research and reconciliation of accounting data as requested. Research proposed or new technical regulations issued by FASB, SEC, PCAOB, or other authority; determine impact on organization, ensure items are communicated to affected team members, and ensure implementation of new standards and reporting requirements. Coordinate team member selection, training and development and ensure all team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures. Plan, organize, and manage all activity related to company-wide consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements; review consolidation level journal entries. Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide any required audit documentation and information necessary for successful completion of any audit and review. Ensure compliance with various reporting and filing requirements. Take an active lead in coordinating accounting matters with other departments and identify procedures to accommodate growth and new business. Other duties as assigned. They supervise all aspects of new model home set-ups and ensure completion of all city permits and coding. Resort Maintenance Managers also supervise and oversee individual resort maintenance team members. JOB DUTIES Coordinates team member selection, training, scheduling and development and ensures all team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures. Oversees and assists maintenance team with all aspects of property maintenance and repairs of grounds and facilities such as lawns, clubhouses, pools, streets, curbs and gardening/landscape. Maintains vehicle/equipment maintenance logs and ensures proper maintenance of resort vehicles. Performs water testing and other maintenance duties related to a well-water system or on-site water meters, if applicable. Ensures water samples are taken on a regular basis. Prepares all maintenance-related logs in accordance of the Operations Manual. Maintains inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies. Purchases supplies, equipment and services as needed while ensuring to adhere to budget guidelines. Completes regular inspections of resident sites throughout the resort. Assists with the set up and clear down of all back of the house operations. Follows all opening and closing procedures and all LEGOLAND California Resort and Hotel safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards and policies. Requirements/Qualifications: Requirements: 1. Requires 1-2 years of progressive experience in F&B production, preferably in a theme park, resort, or multi unit operation 2. Must be able to remain calm and maintain a positive image within a busy kitchen environment at all times 3. Should share a passion for cooking and delivering quality food in a quest service environment 4. Strong communication, organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required 5. Must work effectively in a fast-paced customer-focused environment 6. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including and delivering quality food in a guest service environment Responsibilities: 1. Guest Services: - Works closely with the service team to provide an exceptional food service experience to our guests at all times - Demonstrates an interest in provided and promoting a child friendly environment - Should be guest focused and able to answer queries on the menus of the Hotel and Park services as required 2. Operations: - Ensure food quality/production standards, policies and procedures are met and maintained at all times - Ensure a high standard of food production and presentation at all times - Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all locations at all times - Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment within the department are used in conjunction with manufacturers specifications and as laid down in the SOP manual - Report and assist in the management of any equipment failure to the Sous Chef or Head Chef 3. Food Production: - Prepares and stocks any mise en place for the upcoming shift - During service, is responsible for operation a station within the kitchen, producing parts or whole of both hot and cold meals - Possess a good working knowledge of the entire menu offer - Works closely with other team members to ensure that all food is prepared, ready for services in a timely manner - Ensures that all food served is prepared and plated in compliance with all quality standards and as per the recipe - At the end of shift or service, assists in the clean down of all kitchen and back of house operation and equipment - Ensures that all products are stored and rotated in adherence to FIO and any safety standards 4. Sanitation and Cleanliness: - Must follow and implement all the LEGOLAND California Resort and Hotels policies and procedures regarding proper sanitation and cleanliness standards 5. Food Safety: - Knowledgeable on all LEGOLAND food safety and HACCP procedures - Responsible for implementing and maintaining any relevant procedures and records 6. Essential Functions - Manage day-to-day activities specific to proactive monitoring and response of known and/ or emerging threats, coordinate investigation and triage activities across wide variety of security events. - Serve as an escalation point for the Security Analysts, provide expertise to support timely and effective decision making of when to declare an incident. - Drive incident response which may include implementation of containment, protection, and remediation activities. Escalate and coordinate security incidents with appropriate stakeholders. - Collaborate with peer shift managers to provide tactical and strategic direction for the Threat Management Center. - Develop and maintain processes and procedural documentation to improve analysis of events, event handling activities, continuously develop threat intelligence program, and overall Threat Management Center functions. - Stay current on the latest security threats, common exploits, and vulnerabilities. - Develop and maintain reporting metrics used to measure team performance, ensure analyst adherence to processes/procedures for operational consistency, identify process improvements, coaching, training and professional development of the staff. - Prepare briefings and reports - Complete performance review responsibilities, matching team member goals with department goals and establishing areas for needed growth.
