HSE/EHS Sales Director

Details: The Director of Business Development (HSE/EHS Services Sales) reports to the Vice-President of Sales, and will have responsibility for leading business development activities for all new and existing projects and initiatives serving the target markets throughout the Gulf of Mexico region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Formalize the Area Business Development strategy, consistent with the National and Regional plan, and execute the plan for the Area Office to exceed area sales and activity targets. · Lead and facilitate HSE/EHS selling activities direct to existing clients and to prospects across all three disciplines, with a focus in select regional industrial sectors. · Actively build and manage a sales pipeline that will allow achievement of personal sales and revenue targets as set forth by the VP of Sales. · Support Marketing efforts through trade show attendance, lead management, and providing input to produce marketing and communications materials. · Liaise with the Operations, Key Account Managers, and Business Development to ensure the right people and resources are in place to deliver the contracted services. · Identify new offerings and contribute to the strategic planning to ensure continued growth and profitability. · Lead teams comprised of both business development and operational personnel to develop and deliver business development plans for assigned Key Accounts. · Mentor operational personnel with Business Development responsibilities to allow for succession planning and support growth. · Identify and facilitate key growth initiatives that will further enhance the HSE/EHS service offering. · Availability for frequent travel throughout the Gulf of Mexico region.

Assist product design engineer with product evaluation and troubleshooting. Analyze product verification and manufacturing test data for evaluation and troubleshooting purposes. Work with manufacturing department to deploy functional test equipment and procedures at their facility, and to assist with troubleshooting of test and related product failures. Document test setups, test stations and test procedures, and supervise related documentation generated by equipment developers, suppliers and product manufacturers. Function as project leader of equipment development team to insure all aspects of the equipment and test process are completed.
