Will provide financial direction for plant operations which consists of two Controllers (in two different divisions) and a finance team of 15 people. Job Duties Participate in the preparation of Strategies, Plans, and Annual Budgets. Perform economic evaluations and coordinate the interaction of manufacturing plans in the overall company budget. Analyze and evaluate the economic aspects of the operative activities of salary and hourly manning levels, gain sharing programs, union contract negotiations, service contracts, utility price increases, health care programs, capital investment proposals, tax assessments, and insurance rate changes to improve the overall profitability of the plant. Propose methods and programs for improving financial results. Review and evaluate the effectiveness of profit improvement proposals and programs. Develop reporting and information systems to permit efficient controlling. Develop planning, budgeting and accounting systems to ensure accurate evaluation of economic aspects of the company.
