Provides onsite local support as needed through the regulatory or accreditation survey process and complaint investigations including assistance with preparation for survey, writing the plan of correction, developing an action plan, and monitoring for compliance. Completes and submits visits reports and audit results to the Chief Clinical Officer, Regional Leaders, and Chief Operating Officers for appropriate business line. Leads local teams and risk managers in incident investigation of sentinel events, adverse outcomes, and creation of root cause analyses, creation of action plans, and appropriate reporting through chain of command and on to required regulatory and/or accreditation agencies. Provides onsite support for regulatory surveys as result of incident occurrence Collaborates in development and implementation of performance improvement related to clinical supply chain to facilitate standardization to products and services with highest return on quality outcomes and costs. Function as clinical vendor liaison for the organization. Provides support in research and development of culture change (patient/resident directed care) initiatives, ensuring best fit for the organization and compliance with regulatory and appropriate accreditation requirements. Collaborates in development of clinical/operational policies and procedures using regulatory, accreditory and evidence-based best practices. Assists in development and implementation of clinical computer applications utilized within the organization. Provides leadership and facilitates work of organizational teams and task forces within Presence Life Connections and Presence Health. Serves as mentor for ministry leaders with emphasis on clinical leader expertise. Serves as back-up for Chief Clinical Officer and corporate director(s). Provides quality and clinical excellence/ expertise as member of designated local, corporate, or system committees and teams. Various locations in Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
