Details: Java Developer job opportunity in Washington, DC Responsibilities include: • Update technical specifications based on the requirements from business • Design of mock-up screens and working prototypes (to be converted later into actual applications after business approval) as/if required • Assist as needed in the design of data model and program components/applications • Develop program components/applications based on approved design (and/or mock-ups/prototypes) and detailed requirements provided by the business • Perform unit and usability testing and participate in system/integration testing • Design and develop conversion applications, if needed • Prepare technical documentation • Provide required support during user acceptance testing Educational Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable Required skills: • Creating class, activity and sequence diagrams for application environment • Extensive experience in usage of web technologies such as HTML5, JSON, JQUERY etc • Object oriented design and analysis principles • Application integration, including the use of XML and Mule ESB • Experience with J2EE spring framework, Spring Web flow, Spring MVC, AOP and Hibernate persistence framework • Extensive experience in architecting large, mission-critical application environments. • Provide in-depth technical recommendations for all aspects of the environment, particularly SOA, JAVA, and application middleware integration.
