Details: Basic Purpose of Position: Performs repetitive dimensional, electrical, or mechanical inspection procedures. Visually check piece parts, units, sub or final assemblies that are sent through Receiving Inspection or production line, using a variety of measuring tools including fixed, limit, plug, or other gauges, electrical test sets, rules, scales, micrometers, calipers, and surface plate. Some degree of judgment may be required to determine inferior material or workmanship, but instructions and/or partially prescribed procedures should be followed. Some simple adjustment of electrical test sets may be performed following prescribed procedure and instruction. Mathematical extrapolation of values may be required to a limited extent. Overall work is supervised and frequently checked. Primary or Major Responsibilities: Incoming material inspection. Production inspection/receiving inspection. PWB panel inspection. Inspection of electrical components (resistors, capacitors, IC’s, transistors, diodes, crystals, coils, inductors, and relays). May subject parts, assemblies and purchased components to rigorous dimensional analysis to ascertain conformance to required tolerances. May perform physical tests on materials using hardness tester, profilometer, durometer, tension tester, etc. to ascertain conformance to required tolerances. May reference blueprints, interpret dimensioning shown and review inspection results against engineering and customer expectations. Complete respective paperwork/documentation. The candidate will be responsible for supporting revalidation activities. This includes supporting Periodic Reviews of validated equipment in SSFP, which entails review of change records and discrepancies for validation impact, through the TrackWise system. The Periodic Review will also include review of monitoring data trends and validation lifecycle documents. These reviews will be compiled in a Periodic Review summary report. Please visit our website at www.cbre.com . *LI-GC1 Responsibilities: -Plans, implements, coordinates and manages all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and manpower development programs for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildings. -Manages technical staff, including hiring, training, personnel development. -Manages operations and maintenance for assigned facilities and assists in development of operating and capital budgets. -Assists in operations and maintenance issues, troubleshooting and problem solving as required. -Recommends/implements improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an on-going basis and develop/maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals. -Coordinates maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel and technicians. -Oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues and must remain current with latest HVAC technology trends. -Maintains on-going communication with tenants, clients, owners, facility management team and vendors. -May assist in solicitation and acquisition of new management contracts and coordinate development of and/or maintain as-built drawings. -Responds to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure etc.) and customer concerns. -Implements and administers inventory control programs/purchase parts and supplies. -Develops specifications and assists in solicitation and administration of maintenance/repair service contracts. -Ensures compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, government agencies and company directives as relates to building operations. -Other duties as assigned. -Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. -Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. -Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. -Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. -Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and/or a minimum of four years experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Lead the installation of electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential property. Act as on-site supervisor for electrical teams and provide regular reports of team activities to electrical managers. Troubleshoot system problems and resolving electrical issues. Work with Operations Manager and home owners to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support our solar equipment. Work with local inspectors to meet and satisfy local requirements and expectations. Interface with the Electrical Manager to ensure compliance with ratios and continuing education requirements.
