This is a long term contract position with the potential to go permanent within the first year. Details: Facility Manager State Bank of the Lakes is looking to hire a Facility Manager for our banking location at 10 E Rollins Road, Round Lake Beach, IL 60073. The Facility Manager has over responsibilities for the daily functions and operations of the Facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Oversee Retail Personal Banking and Teller staff on a day to day basis encouraging “Community Banking" at its best. Works directly with the SVP Retail Manger in managing and coordinating the retail and operational functions of the facility. Sales and Service Leadership Manage the activities of the personal bankers / tellers to ensure quality customer service and profitable business development Guide the staff in achieving sales goals set for the facility by mentoring progress, coaching staff, reviewing facility goals with the staff and engaging the team in production success Assist Personal Bankers and Tellers remediate target areas for improvement by developing effective action plans Lead by example the Sales and Service culture to retail staff daily Coach, motivate and provide direction to employees to enhance their job performance Perform tasks as a Personal Banker when needed to provide service to the customers of the bank Perform tasks as a Teller / Teller Supervisor when needed to provide service to the customers of the bank Model and enforce professional dress and demeanor of staff Regularly update staff on progress, address issues and make adjustments as required, towards achievement of goals Build relationships with local organizations by attending various community events and participating in and maintaining memberships Quote rates, terms and programs for consumer loan and mortgage requests (if identified as a Mortgage Loan Originator – MLO). Knowledgeably discuss the various loan/line options to best fit the needs of a customer and the bank Complete the application, appropriate disclosures, and underwrite the request following bank policy and guidelines (within authorized limits) Review and approve outgoing wire transfers and cables Ensure the monthly audit of the teller cash drawers, bank vault and ATM machines are completed as requested by management Responsible for building operations including marqee updates, security systems, community room schedules, and other tasks related to the function of the facility Perform other duties as assigned
