Production Technician job key responsibilities: - Repairing and maintaining production equipment in a timely manner - Performing complex troubleshooting of electrical, controls, pneumatic, and mechanical systems - Troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic schematics and systems - Dismantling, moving, assembling, installing and repairing all types of conventional and NC/automatic machine tools - Reading and interpreting blueprints, layout plans, operating and repair manuals - Implementing upgrades and changes to existing equipment - Developing manufacturing sketches of equipment and fixtures - Setting up and operating conventional machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or fabricate new parts - Performing minor rebuilding projects on major machine tools and equipment - Interfacing with and supports manufacturing, controls and quality engineering - Orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of lower grade technicians and operators - Supporting and sharing knowledge with other technicians Qualifications: - Minimum five years experience as a Production Technician within a manufacturing environment. - Knowledge, ability, and skills to troubleshoot and repair all mechanical components on a variety of manufacturing and industrial equipment. - Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical/electrical issues with ability to quickly identify solution. - Strong mechanical and electrical skills with PLC experience.
