Operational Management • Ensure project methodology is being followed to allow for proper project visibility. • Manage team to track project deliverables and meet required timelines. • Develop and implement of organizational structures in support business requirements. • Maintain relationships with key customers and address concerns as they arise. • Conduct activities such as staffing, performance and resource management, and strategic direction of the team. • Set employee objectives, monitor and evaluate performance and provide feedback and mentoring. • Create and maintain development plans for each team member, including training, skills assessment, career planning, and goal planning. • Manage personal growth objectives for the team in conjunction with Career Development Office. Incidental Functions • Represent the business function for IT initiatives and understand IT impact on business functions. • Assist with other projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and other business/technical entities. • Responsible for hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy. •Ensure proper mentoring channels have been established within the team. • 25% travel may be required (domestic and international). • Work outside the standard office 7.5 hour workday as required.
