Details: Position Overview The Team Lead – QC Valuations has overall responsibility for the initial quality control and shipping of alltraditional appraisal products once they pass through PCV’s automated rulesset. Case Manager

Details: The Case Manager, under independent supervision, will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership in the daily concurrent review of all admissions. He/she will screen cases for possible case management services according to predetermined, communicated, criteria. Authorize inpatient and/or outpatient treatment according to company's stated criteria. Consult with Case Management Nurses in the Case Management Department in proper application of those criteria. Evaluate physician's treatment plan and other records to develop a care plan to assist patient to move as rapidly and cost effectively as possible through health care services. Consult with providers, beneficiaries and family members as needed. Reviews and checks documentation of all initial and concurrent reviews, including but not limited to, diagnosis, symptoms, interventions, goals and plan for next review. Identifies providers for specialized services and negotiates rates when services are provided outside the contracted provider network. Acting as a supervisor, the Case Manager will assign tasks and responsibilities to the nursing staff of the Case Management Department; delegate areas of responsibility; and provide the final authority for all departmental decisions. The Case Manager will interact with all other nursing departments, and will provide daily input to the senior medical staff and its assistants and consultants; cooperate with the Medical Director in establishing policy for the department; suggest changes and interact generally with the executive branch, the board of directors and the president and CEO of the company in all aspects of the department. Assigns tasks to the Case Management Coordinator(s) as needed, and prepares for all departmental and interdepartmental meetings, with the aid of all department staff. Objective of the Case Manager is to ensure coordination of timely and appropriate care for all hospitalized members; to ensure the delivery of cost efficient, appropriate health care services for all members; to ensure members with complex and chronic care needs are addressed; to ensure plan for coordination among all disciplines; to ensure that medically necessary care is delivered for members that require extensive ongoing service; and identification of any potential quality of care issues. The Case Manager will provide liaison between Case Management and other departments, assigning personnel as needed to engage in such liaison where the Manager’s participation is not appropriate. The manager will also consult with the Medical Director in such issues as changes to procedures; improvements to communication both between the IPA and the various providers as well as within the company; and recent developments in both nursing and medical technology, diagnosis and procedures in order to provide the best service available at the lowest cost possible.

Write, edit, and proofread press releases, letters to the editor and op-ed pieces; identify and recommend story ideas and appropriate media for company news distribution in the form of press releases and CEO statements. Work with the Marketing Department to develop high-quality, easily-shareable multimedia content (e.g. infographics, short-form video) designed to enhance the “search rank" for WG-created social and owned media materials. Attend events or activities held in areas of California and Arizona as needed and write, photograph and report on such meetings. Travel is approximately 10%.
