Community Relations Sr. Advisor

Details: Organizational Statement Enbridge Energy Company, Inc., a leader in crude oil and natural gas transportation, gathering and processing, is currently seeking a Community Relations Sr. Advisor at the Superior, WI office. Responsibilities Primary Focus: This position works directly with Superior Region management and U.S. LP Public Affairs to develop relationships with key stakeholders at the local, county and state level. Further, this position helps U.S. Public Affairs and Superior Region management identify and support Superior Region community investment, in-kind resources and employee volunteerism opportunities. This position will support the Superior Region community outreach strategic objectives as well as to help manage and enhance the Enbridge reputation, thereby fostering our corporate consent to operate. The Superior Region Community Relations Senior Advisor, with direction from the General Manager, Superior Region, Major Projects leadership and U.S. LP Public Affairs, recommends and helps to execute community relations and community investment activities that further the success of the Superior Region major projects and region business objectives as well as Enbridge’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. This position will also support the planning and implementation of stakeholder outreach plans for regional expansion projects in the Region. Specific Accountabilities: Community Relations: The Senior Advisor will work with Superior Region management and U.S. LP Public Affairs to annually develop a community relations program for the region. That program will monitor, assess and manage stakeholder issues with the potential to affect Enbridge and its liquids pipelines business with a focus on the Superior community and other key regional communities and stakeholders, including the “affected public” living near our rights-of-way, local public officials, Native American groups, NGOs/ENGOs and regulatory agencies. The Senior Advisor will help facilitate and sponsor key community events and increase public officials’ knowledge and acceptance of Enbridge facilities and operations. Project Public Consultation: The Senior Advisor will work with the Senior Manager, U.S. LP Public Affairs, to plan and implement proactive public consultation strategies for major renovation and greenfield projects and expansions of pipelines and facilities in the Superior Region, working closely with the project team and the Project Director or Manager. As required, the Senior Advisor may supervise the work of any contract community relations professionals and agencies hired to supplement public consultation or community relations outreach within the region. The Senior Advisor will work with the Superior and Houston Public Affairs staff to assure publications and websites are developed to support major these projects. The Senior Advisor will receive guidance from the Senior Manager, Business and Major Projects Communications, related to major projects media relations and related external communications. Community Investment & Employee Volunteerism: The Senior Advisor will support Superior Region management business objectives by recommending strategic major community investments to the U.S. LP Public Affairs community investment team and by helping regional management target smaller community investments from the U.S. Liquids community investment budget and the Superior Region General Manager’s discretionary investment monies. The Senior Advisor will facilitate volunteer opportunities for region employees and families that align with Enbridge CSR goals and community investment areas. This will include promotion of the Enbridge VIP volunteer program for employees. Emergency & Crisis Communications: The Senior Advisor will provide immediate support for effective communications in emergencies, including media, internal, community and landowner crisis and emergency communications in close coordination with the Superior Region management team as well as Enbridge U.S. and Canadian Public Affairs teams. The Senior Advisor will serve as regional public affairs liaison working with incident response personnel and, as needed, serve as member of Enbridge enterprise crisis communications team to help supplement public affairs support for crisis situations involving other U.S. liquids systems as well as natural gas, joint venture or Canadian systems. Pipeline Public Awareness: Working directly with the Enbridge Public Awareness Program leader and the regional management team, including the regional public awareness coordinator, the Superior Regional Community Relations Senior Advisor will help develop, implement and document activities and communications that meets statutory requirements for a “supplemental” pipeline public awareness program as set out in API RP 1162 and in CFR 195.440, with a special focus on Enbridge-operated pipelines in the Superior Region. Media Relations: In coordination with the U.S. Communications and Public Affairs teams, the Senior Advisor will manage non-corporate media relations for the Superior Region. With oversight from the Senior Manager, Business and Major Projects Communications, the Senior Advisor will support the Superior Region media relations, including preparation and approval of local news advisories; preparation and approval of key messages, and questions and answers for local news advisories and key issues and projects; disseminating local news advisories; coordinating requests for interviews; monitoring local media coverage; and participating as directed by U.S. Public Affairs leadership in crisis media training for liquids operations staff in the United States. The Senior Advisor will be responsible for identifying, targeting and cultivating relationships with key media representatives within the Superior Region to improve the access and coverage of the company. The Senior Advisor will assure that all local news advisories are properly reviewed and approved by Superior Region management, U.S. Communications and Public Affairs leadership and Law. Right-of-Way Landowner/Tenant Communications: The Senior Advisorwill work closely with regional Right-of-Way and project teams to develop messages and delivery channels for those communications related to integrity digs, hydrostatic testing and other visible activities on or near the rights-of-way. General Communications & Issue Management: The Senior Advisor willprovide community relations counsel and planning support to the Superior Region management and project teams related to the development of public presentations and collateral support materials related to key issues and concerns within the region. This may include research, writing, community event staging and other public affairs initiatives undertaken within the region. Industry Liaison: As directed by the Superior Region general manager, regional management and / or U.S. Public Affairs leadership, the Senior Advisor may represent Enbridge on local and regional industry, governmental or charitable committees and panels.

Medication Nurse (LPN)

Details: The Medication Nurse will be responsible for administering the proper dose of methadone to each patient as prescribed by the Medical Director or Program Physician. He or she ensures medication accountability. The Medication Nurse assists in the screening of patients and keeps in close contact with counselors regarding patients’ progress. The Medication Nurse will perform duties within the scope of their license or certification which are an addendum to this job description. Summary of Essential Job Functions: Professional Development Responsible for the achievement of assigned specific annual goals and objectives Training Participate in all trainings as required by federal, state, local and accrediting agencies. Duties and Responsibilities Administer methadone as prescribed by the Medical Director or Program Physician Perform evaluation and assessment of new and current patients to determine appropriateness for treatment or need for modifications to their treatment Observe and assess patients after the initial dose is administered Follow all physician orders Assess patients’ appropriateness for dosing Collection of urine specimens, filing of contract urines (quantity specified per state/clinic regulations), record urine results in patients’ chart. Provide a copy of urine results to patients’ primary counselors Responsible for maintenance of all medical supply inventories as needed Receive medication shipments in accordance with DEA and company procedures Responsible for processing new MARS for admits, re-admits, transfers, and courtesy dosing patients Ability to demonstrate blood draw competency. Responsible for coordinating and preparing courtesy and vacation dose medication packages Participate in training new nurses Ensure implementation of quality health standards Maintain accurate patient dosing records as well as daily reconciliation and accountability of medication inventory as dispensed from total stock on hand Report and document all medication discrepancies and incidents promptly to the Nursing Supervisor and Program Director Clear the medication count daily Plan and implement changes necessary for improved functioning of the treatment center Attend and function as an active participant in weekly treatment team meetings, as well as outside seminars and training Maintain active communication (weekly) with other team members in the nursing department as to relevant program/patient changes Maintain and help with a chart monitoring system to track physicals and lab work Confirm, sign and execute on medical orders as directed Assist the Medical Director or Program Physician with physical examinations and other procedures as required or directed Hold a basic understanding of drug/alcohol abuse and addiction and keep updated on current drug abuse and treatment information - specifically current trends in Opioid Maintenance Treatment Able to develop and maintain professional, helpful and effective relationships with patients Able to function as a productive team member, working in conjunction with all other team members in a helpful, positive manner Ability to project a positive and professional image to the community, in representation of the treatment center Participate in and/or helps perform, schedule, or attend monthly treatment center in-service trainings Ensure treatment center meets all accreditation standards related to Medical, Health, and Safety issues; and other areas as assigned Meet BHG attendance standards and be present and ready for work at the beginning of their established work schedule Report any work-related injury or illness, or workplace hazards or security issues immediately to supervisor Other duties as assigned by supervisor Regulatory Responsible for complying with all federal, state and local regulatory agency requirements Responsible for complying with all licensing and accrediting agency requirements
