He/she will track, remediate risks to ensure injury prevention, illness and property damage prevention as well as OSHA/EPA/DOT regulatory compliance. The Safety Champion is responsible for tactical application in the factory of all company Environmental Health and Safety policies, procedures and programs. Consistently and independently performs assignments that are not always standardized or prescribed. Exhibits deep expertise in a variety of work area(s) to support the safety requirements of a continuous flow manufacturing process to meet production and quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates Safety training/orientation of factory employees and ensures training is current and meets regulatory requirements.
