Technical Customer Service
Details: TEKsystems-Madison is looking for a team of entry-level support staff to join our client's helpdesk. Qualified candidates will take Level 1 calls (including password resets, Microsoft Office questions, general support issues, etc...). Most of the work will be initial triaging of calls and routing them to other tiers. The environment is scripted (i.e., they will have a knowledge base that explains how to fix each issue), so candidates do not need any previous IT background. Customer service is most important, with a willingness/desire to enter the IT field a requirement as well. Customer service/soft skills are the most important aspects of this job. Candidates must be able to articulate their thoughts clearly and concisely. They must have strong examples of previous customer service experience (stocking shelves at a grocery store or bartending typically don't cut it).
