RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Evaluate new and existing processes, and to recommend improvements. Monitor operating conditions and troubleshoot operational issues. Provide technical support to achieve maximum production and improve efficiency and quality. Monitor Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with ISO-9002 to confirm compliance and make improvement modifications as required. Manage Plant Projects as directed from design stage and project planning through commissioning and start up. Utilizes statistical process control methods to monitor manufacturing processes. Provide back up for Operations Superintendent during periods of absence. Assist environmental affairs department in preparation of environmental permits and to assure compliance with existing environmental permits and requirements. Assist with plant communications by preparing daily notes and reports, and by monitoring maintenance work orders. Performs other related responsibilities as required or directed.
