The Community Relations Director functions as the face of the facility and holds a primarily outside marketing position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist prospective health care agents on exploratory tours of the facility. Develop and update annual marketing plan and maintain a monthly marketing events calendar. Develop and implement effective marketing programs. Partner with Admissions Director to design materials such as press releases, ads, brochures, etc. for advertising purposes. Familiarize community organizations with the facility's services. Host community outreach events such as blood drives, blood pressure screenings, etc. Strategize ways to capitalize on customer base to drive repeat business. Join and remain active in civic organizations and health care communities. Follow up with all discharges from the facility. Develop new referral sources. Maintain positive rapport with referral services and community organizations. External marketing, travel required, four days a week. Track all marketing and sales calls to ensure effectiveness of efforts. Possess a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm to encourage an atmosphere of growth.
