Details: Equal Opportunity Employer: Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran Job Shift: 1st Shift Travel: None Job Summary At Waste Management our Commercial Drivers operate front-end or rear load trucks to service commercial routes removing and transporting waste or recyclables in fulfillment of customer contracts. This position will service approximately 100 to 150 commercial customers per day according to the assigned routes. The waste will then need to be transferred to the appropriate station, landfill or drop-off location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by location. Routes may require Drivers to navigate through congested communities and confined or tight areas in city and suburban locations. Backing skills are essential, as a large percentage of the time spent servicing customers is done in reverse. Our drivers routinely climb in and out of the truck cab to service customer accounts and at times need to climb on to the truck containers to smooth loads or secure traps for transport. Our drivers, who have safe driving records, comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with company policy. Drivers are expected to communicate professionally with customers and dispatchers at all times. This includes receiving complaints about schedules and quality of service. Our Drivers must make note of and report on any such complaints and respond in a courteous and respectful manner. Required work hours may be up to the legal limits allowed and may require weekend and/or holiday work. Work hours will vary by route. Details: This is a full time position with K12 located in Herndon, VA SUMMARY: The Solution Architect develops the technical vision for a major initiative, translates that vision into an executable technical plan or roadmap, and leads the technical implementation through deployment(s). The role works closely with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture (EA), User Experience (UX), Development, and Production Operations to align the vision and resulting solution with broader product, technical, and organizational roadmaps.
