Installs and modifies machinery and equipment, including one-off assignments, as required by production, engineering, and other personnel. Services and repairs programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors, and drives. Assembles and maintains: electrical and electronic devices and systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other production mechanical systems, as necessary. A WSC EMMT will possess and demonstrate: The ability to read and interpret electrical / electronic schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, ladder diagrams, PLC programs, instrumentation and piping diagrams, equipment service manuals, and operating manuals.
