Senior Maintenance Technician

Details: The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the conveyor system and all equipment related to the conveyor operation. He or she will also be responsible for maintaining all of the automated machines. The followind duties require accuracy and appropriate decition making skills: Responsible for all of the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and programming of the conveyor systems and automated machines. Includes PLC logic, computer interfaces and the electrical system. Ability to work from electrical schematics, wire diagrams, and blueprints to maintain and troubleshoot the conveyor equipment and automated machines. Requisitions spare parts, tools, equipment, and supplies. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Reports all pertinent information when completing work orders. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities that impact production departments. Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. Helps to develop cost estimates for all types of maintenance projects.

Prepares written documentation of police activities. Communicates police action in criminal and civil court proceedings.
