Solution Architect

Details: Solution Architect This person will provide sales team with expert product and technical knowledge. The primary focus of this position is to provide strong technical support and thought leadership during the pre-sales process. Must be able to master company's technology, and gain the customers’ and sales team’s confidence to such a degree that they see you as the solution expert. Will be expected to ascertain and elicit customer requirements, engage in consultative and technical solutions meetings, and architect a complete solution, working with the sales, product and R&D teams. After the sale is completed, you will transition your work to the Delivery Team to implement the solution correctly. This is an internal and full time opportunity located in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities: Must be able to support sales team with confidence and demonstrate company's products to senior management (C-level), vice president, director, recruiter and technical audiences. Must then be able to engage with the prospect to learn about their environment, prepare scoping documents to inform statement-of-work and proposals and work with company's engineers to advise the best solution. This may require assisting or leading several customer meetings – both on phone and on customer site. Success in this role requires: excellent listening skills, requirements-solicitation skills, excellent writing skills, strong technical skills, and the ability to document solutions. After the sale, you will be responsible for documenting and transition's all of the technical knowledge and business requirements gained during the sales cycle to the Delivery Team so that the implementation is as seamless as possible. A key measurement of performance will be how closely aligned the prospects’ expectations and pre-sales efforts are to the actual implementation. Perform administrative duties; complete necessary forms, reports, evaluations and studies. Attend department head meetings as scheduled or may be called. Determine departmental staffing requirements necessary to meet the department’s needs. Assist in the recruitment and selection of housekeeping personnel, complete new hire paperwork, and ensure that appropriate identification documents are presented prior to employment and that such records are maintained in the employee’s personnel record. Monitor absenteeism to ensure that an adequate number of housekeeping/laundry staff are on duty at all times. Counsel and discipline housekeeping/laundry personnel as requested or as necessary, ensuring that disciplinary action is administered fairly. Assign a sufficient number of housekeeping/laundry staff for each tour of duty, and schedule department work hours (including vacation and holiday schedules), work assignments and cleaning schedules to expedite work. Supervise safety programs by inspecting work areas and equipment at least weekly, and ensure that staff follows established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies at all times. Ensure that all staff is trained to use labels and SDSs to recognize hazards and to follow appropriate protective measures. Ensure that containers of hazardous chemicals in the department are properly labeled and stored and that the SDSs are on file and easily accessible for the facility. Monitor stock level of housekeeping/laundry supplies, disinfectants, and equipment to ensure the department is maintaining and providing a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Additional duties may be assigned by Administrator as necessary.
