Details: Gannett Publishing Services (Oshkosh Northwestern Media) is seeking a Distribution Center Assistant to join our team. This position is perfect for students, individuals re-entering the workforce or someone looking to make an extra income. Limited previous experience is needed as paid training will be provided for the right individual. The primary responsibilities of this position includes work in the distribution center, unloading carts of newspapers from trucks, distributing daily and non-daily products and paperwork to independent contractors. The technologist will be scheduled for vascular lab coverage at UW Health West Clinic on Junction Road. Position will have a flexible schedule as coverage at these clinics may vary from week to week. Qualifications Requirements include a Registered Vascular Technologist certification within 180 days of employment, current CPR certification and 2-3 years experience in vascular testing preferred The technologist will perform all duties of the Health Technologist - Peripheral Vascular with limited supervision. Entry Level Technician: • Maintain an organized neat and safe bay. • A focus towards maintaining a safe work environment and neat bay. • Ability and desire to learn to diagnose and repair basic systems to become certified in a minimum of 5 areas with a preference for brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical. • Change oil and/or transmission fluid and filters. • Install batteries and checks electrical systems. • Install and perform tire maintenance. • Ability to road test vehicles. • Any ASE certifications and/or a tech school degree is a big plus, but not required. Entry Level Mechanic / Technician • Maintain an organized neat and safe bay. • 1-2 years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience to succeed in this position. • A high level of motivation and energy and strong customer service skills are also required. • Ability to install parts which include shock absorbers and exhaust systems. • Any ASE certifications and/or a tech school degree is a big plus, but not required. Senior Mechanic / Automotive Technician • Maintain an organized neat and safe bay. • At least 2-3 years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience. • 3 ASE certifications are preferred for this position. • You’ll also need a high level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude. Lead Mechanic / Master Automotive Technician • Maintain an organized neat and safe bay. • 5+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem solving and repair experience as you mentor and teach teammates while discussing problems with customers. • You will also need strong leadership skills and a customer-focused attitude to go along with a high level of motivation and energy. • 5 ASE certifications are preferred.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Show respect for residents and community staff at all times, providing excellent customer service Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance as scheduled & requested; may include painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, replacing filters, working with trash compactor, etc. Perform routine maintenance and repair on community equipment to include: plumbing, light bulb replacement, A/C maintenance, electrical, carpentry and mechanical repair Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns as well as any hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner Maintain resident privacy and receive proper authority prior to entering resident apartments Ensure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries to residents, associates, and visitors Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned Work with vendors as instructed, such vendors for landscaping, painting asphalt, etc. Must follow all safety/OSHA Requirements Additional Functions and Responsibilities: Additional duties as assigned
