Assume position of Management Rep for ISO9000:2000 with responsibility for ensuring systems and procedures are in place for the following: Management system Management responsibility Planning Infrastructure Customer requirements and communications Identification and traceability Measuring devices and systems Internal audit Monitoring and measuring frequency Control of non-conforming product Continual improvement LSS leader for Quality Department Corrective and preventative action Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Authorities Implement and sustain a ISO9000:2000 Quality System Develop and coordinate all Quality activities and programs Develop data collection and reporting systems analyzing service, return and yield information Statistically characterize processes and parts Encourage team development and use of modern problem solving techniques Develop metrics for key areas with goals for continuous improvement and reduction of variation Develop Quality training programs; ie Poka Yoke, 5S, Problem Solving, Process Mapping, Cause and Effect, Root Cause Analysis, ISO9000 Write performance reviews and development programs for subordinates Develop proactive plans and implement systems and process controls to eliminate errors and defects Assist in determining specifications for processes and products Act as chairperson and maintain the records for the MR Change Review Board Process Direct the timely reporting of problems and implementation of corrective action as described in the Mercury Racing Corrective Action Procedure 36-P005 Conduct cross functional Quality reviews as part of the Mercury Racing Product Development Process (QCT)
