JobDescription: Ensure strict adherence to GEO and Plant Specific Safety policies, practices, and procedures Manage the site Maintenance Team and Engineering programs to ensure operational safety and reliability Provide the day-to-day operational leadership for maintenance team Develop and maintain Preventative Maintenance programs Develop, monitor and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans Assist Plant Manager in making operational improvements to reduce costs and to increase productivity Assist in the planning and management of the Capital Expenditure process Promote development cost saving initiatives including management of utilities and equipment Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork, quality and safety Work closely with the Plant Manager to manage union grievances for effective outcomes.
