Develop project requirements, scope of work, technical design, and cost justification for management evaluation. •Assists project engineers in providing technical support as needed •Writes standard operating procedures for new equipment and ensures safe startup of new equipment •Supporting experiments or trials for new and existing products to ensure they meet customer’s fitness for use •Identifying and eliminating common causes of product and process variation (troubleshooting) •Analyzing product and process data, providing feedback and making recommendations to optimize performance •Partner with maintenance to resolve equipment issues •Monitors and evaluates equipment performance to ensure the equipment is performing properly •Takes corrective action on equipment performing below design •Evaluates chemical process to ensure they can be run within the current equipment design •Ensures the DCS (distributed control system) is functioning properly
