Details: Generac Power Systems - Join the leader in the power industry! We are seeking a Product Management Specialist for our Residential Group in our Waukesha, WI location. The Product Management Specialist assists in the development and executes strategies for our residential and commercial generator product lines. This role will also conduct and utilize specific market research to understand trends and dynamics in order to uncover new opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in developing residential and commercial product strategy and roadmap with input from Business Group and Steering Committee. Product strategy and road map includes specific, measurable goals such as net sales, product revenue, on time product launches and hitting project budgets. Synthesizes data into facts and trends that validate product development direction by working with marketing team. Creates and compiles industry- and consumer-focused research (e.g. industry outlet share, market share, retail sales by price tier, competitive product profiles, consumer "pain points" and usage/attitude research). Understands product quality metrics and communicate any quality issues to sales leadership. Cross functionally interacts with Marketing, IT, Engineering and Sales to execute the product strategy and roadmap based on a three year plan. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field 3 + years of work experience in product management, marketing, or engineering field (7 years of related work experience may also be considered if no degree) Willing to travel up to 25% Additional Qualifications Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to act proactively and identify innovative solutions. Highly motivated and detail oriented. Cross functional experience
