Environmental Specialist
Details: Position Summary : This is a salaried-exempt position, working independently or in a team to plan, implement, and coordinate environmental and safety programs in accordance with corporate, county, state, federal rules and regulations. This requires the application of engineering principles, technology, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) to prevent or mitigate unsafe environmental or working conditions in and around the manufacturing division. Essential Duties : Manage Title V air permit program. Monitor plant operations to ensure capture of relevant data used in recordkeeping and for completion of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports as mandated by site’s air permit. Prepare all air permit renewal and modifications within required time frames. Coordinate the completion of annual Air Stack Emissions testing and Visible Emissions testing while managing the work of outside consultants. Complete reports for wastewater monitoring including the monthly Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) and quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report. Track and oversee solid waste disposal methods used. Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance with regards to OSHA and EPA rules and regulations. Develops, facilitates, and tracks EHS training programs for employees in areas such as hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene and life safety. Routinely review employee safety programs to determine their adequacy. Conduct audits to identify unsafe work practices and food safety non-conformities, and recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employee and product exposure to chemical, physical, and biological hazards. Investigate safety complaints, industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures. Abide by all Company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook and comply with all Company, Local, State and Federal regulations relating to Health, Safety, Operations, etc. Successfully participate in and complete all training sessions, safety classes, pre-shift meetings, and/or certifications related to the position.

Securing documentation from terminal locations and owner operators to facilitate insurance coverage and making changes as they happen. Level 2 Quality Control Chemist
Details: A Level 2 Quality Control Chemist job in Verona, WI is available through Adecco Engineering and Technology. Candidates will be responsible for the routine analysis of samples in the Quality Control department and related paperwork. This position will also include assisting with method qualification, writing protocols and standard operating procedures.
