Work with various departments to manage accurate standard costs for all product types. Update standard costs periodically to increase their accuracy. Evaluate impact of cost changes to inventory values.. . Maintain IFS Cost Accounting System including overseeing cost rollups. Understand and document the current standard costing process. . Ensure that all inventories are valued properly including a monthly evaluation of reserves for slow moving, excess and obsolete inventories. . Analyze and document weekly and monthly inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) variances. .
