This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair and construction of pneumatic equipment. Duties & Responsibilities: Able to safely and accurately use a roller bender to bend stainless steel tubing up to ½" in diameter. Able to read and interpret schematics. Perform routine troubleshooting and pneumatic maintenance repairs on assigned system equipment. Perform diagnostics, repair and construction of pneumatic systems and components; build control panels as per schematics. Perform a variety of pneumatic duties including installing, disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective parts on a variety of pneumatic equipment. Job Summary: The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for developing the technical deliverables required for civil content for industrial facilities as well as supporting the permitting activities associated with construction. This position is responsible for the development of the overall civil design including design concept, criteria, code interpretations, permitting, models, calculations, specifications and permitting support for the facility design. This position is responsible for being the lead engineer for the civil design and the overall quality of the deliverables. The Senior Civil Engineer will have worked in material handling, oil and gas, marine terminals or power plants. Job Responsibilities: Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with clients, co-workers and management Know and understand the discipline specific scope of work, design criteria, and project standards Responsible for completing technical portions of a project, not just tasks Direct drafters, designers and other engineers to complete tasks Responsible for preparing and maintaining calculations as required by the project plan for submittals for any applicable permits or client review Understand project and state stamping requirements. Engineer is ultimately responsible for PE stamping Interface through Discipline or Team Lead for details within Engineer's responsibility to obtain necessary information in a timely manner Proactively communicate any concerns, problems, or technical decisions that impact the project (i.e. layouts, budget, other disciplines) Participate in weekly calls as requested to verify scope and information Check work received from Designers/Drafters for correctness and quality Verify that work meets River and/or project standards Verify Designers/Drafters working under Engineer are following QA/QC standards Sign-off on check prints as required by project QA plan Ensure all engineering tasks are on budget and on schedule Understand hours for tasks and clearly express to all staff working under Engineer
