Assemble Cleat & Leads Assemblies to unit (HV, LV, Top racks). Build and assemble Booster Unit complete (set up core/e-assembly through wiring) as needed. Will, as required, perform repair work on oiled component in and out of the tank. Resistance Braze Coil Conductor Leads & Cleat & Lead connections as required. Make minor repairs and machine maintenance. Write work orders for the repair of tooling and equipment. Layout and assemble Cleat and Lead Racks for mains and boosters. Assemble NLTC to cleats Braze subassemblies (terminal blocks, bus bars, external assemblies, etc.) as required. Forward all paperwork to responsible personnel as required. Contamination control, vacuum, magnetic seeps and preventable measures. Keep tools, equipment and work area clean and orderly. Follows all safety procedures. Perform other work as required. Details: Position Title: Molding Technician Wage/Salary: $18-$22/hr., based on experience Shift: 1st, 7am-3pm QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Molding Technician at a manufacturing company in Elkhorn, WI. This is a temp to hire technical role reporting to the Tooling Manager on all matters pertaining to PM schedules and repairs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Routine maintenance of molds including daily cleaning and greasing. • Disassembles, cleans, and reassembles molds as needed. • Works from detailed design drawings, engineering drawings, sketches and verbal instructions. • Determines accurate and efficient methods to construct and repair molds. • Selects proper metals and other material and lays out work using precision measuring instruments (such as venires, dial indicators, micrometers, etc.), shop mathematics and pertinent formula. • Sets up and operates all types of tool room equipment to include: lathes, mills, grinders, heat treating, drill presses, etc. • Determines the sequences of operation, method of fabrication, type and amount of machine work or process operation required. • Sample and qualify new molds. • Work with Q.C. for best processing parameters. • Must be able to give realistic quotes and meet delivery times. • Set up secondary equipment as needed to run jobs. • Reassure quality of parts throughout production run. • Help in the relief of breaks for operators. • Assist Process Technicians with Set up and trouble-shoot molds in Molding Department for production. • Other projects and tasks as assigned.
