Details: Controls Technician (1st Shift) Pay Range: $35-40/hr. 1st Shift: 6:00am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday) Direct Hire/Permanent Placement Opportunity Overview : Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Controls Technician will be responsible for various types of controls, communication systems and programming on food manufacturing equipment and plant support systems. Responsibilities : The list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Assure up to date and working backup programs exist for PLC’s, panel views, servo system and any devices or support systems that require a program. Assure each device requiring a program is backed up internally utilizing external memory device. Maintain a second back up program for each device on the department’s laptop. Maintain up to date programing software. Resolve repetitive program faults. Perform integrations based on Management’s direction. Enhance equipment or line performance through programming or control improvements. Train technicians on controls or systems as necessary or directed by Manager. Perform PM on control components based on CMMS. Develop and maintain equipment controls network based on Managers direction.
