Details: WGNO Weekend Anchor/Producer/Multimedia Journalist WGNO –TV, New Orleans ABC Affiliate, has an immediate opening for a high energy, motivated, social media savvy anchor-producer to take the lead for our Sunday newscasts. This position is great for someone who loves creative control of a newscast. Your anchoring skills must demonstrate strong communication abilities which allow you to report hard news as well as feature news. You will also have a track record of enterprising unique stories. The individual we will hire will also produce the two half-hour newscasts. You must be able to write and deliver compelling stories under deadline pressure. This person will also be adept at social media and will be required to write and produce stories for wgno.com, Facebook, Instagram, etc. This is not an entry level position.
