Details: HRU Tech, Inc. has teamed up with a bottling facility in the Frankfort, KY area to locate an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager. The person chosen for this position will contribute to the success of the overall plant operation by coordinating compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulations. The Manager is responsible for cost control of Workers Compensation through training and strategic and proactive case management. This is a direct hire opportunity and has a great opportunity to advance your career. The ideal candidate will have experience in a food, beverage, or CPG environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the daily activities of the EH&S Specialist and Security Supervisor. Administer a comprehensive health and safety education program. Ensure training is completed and documented for all employees on OSHA/EPA/DOT required topics. Conduct periodic compliance audits throughout the plant. Coordinate corrections of unsafe conditions or acts. Consult with department managers for recommendations on compliance. Administer plant Worker’s Compensation. Ensure all injuries are documented, investigated for legitimacy and filed with appropriate state agencies. Coordinate employee recovery from initial care and limited duty to return to full duty. Coordinate drug screens as required. Conduct monthly SOX reviews and participate in BGSW Claim Review a minimum of two (2) times per year. Accompany outside regulatory agencies, corporate auditors or insurance adjusters during the inspection of facilities. Coordinate corrective actions, file appropriate responses with proper agencies. Coordinate filing of appropriate permit applications, hazardous waste activity reports, water discharge monitoring and all other EPA correspondence. Maintain master library of plant environmental compliance ready for inspection by governing agencies. Ensure proper filing of all OSHA or EPA mandated compliance records. Retain as required by law. Administer plant fire prevention and detection systems. Ensure fire inspections are preformed daily and facility meets all applicable fire codes. Ensure fire system is maintained properly through coordination with department managers, maintenance department and their supervisors. Annually budget and coordinate fire detection systems and surveillance cameras to fully comply with TTB & Factory Mutual requirements. Direct correcting high-risk employees from repeated injury, development of policies for high-risk job classification and continual improvement of plant safety performance. Manage annual budget for asbestos identification, removal and disposal. Budget for safety supplies (gloves, glasses, medication, etc) and security guarding equipment. Prepare an annual budget for testing, removal and destruction of hazardous waste generated at the plant. Coordinate emergency response during disaster situations such as fire, tornado, flood, etc. Coordinate with outside agencies as required. Keep Plant Manager aware of actions and situations. Manage the security program and coordinate with the Guards Union. Assist with the union contract negotiations and prepare the annual security budget. Supervise daily operations of Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator and manage coordination and purchasing of applicable chemicals and maintenance requests of the WWTP. Serve as OSP 14001 Environmental Management Representative (EMR) and OHSAS 18001 Safety Management Representative (SMR); with accountability for both Management systems. Ensure certification to both standards is maintained and continuous improvement objectives are met. Monitor and report EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and update ISO 14001 Objectives & Targets monthly. Adhere to and promote environmental health and safety as one of the organization’s business priorities. Promote, enforce and adhere to Food Safety, 5S and ISO standards.

Required to be proficient in operating a field test kit Able to perform chemical testing, quality analysis, implement product inventory controls, place product orders, conduct safety training and business review meetings as well as troubleshoot various equipment, chemical and microbiological issues Must possess excellent sales skills. Must be capable of performing food plant sanitation audits/inspections. After compiling the information necessary, needs to be capable of presenting the information and closing the sale Ability to train employees on cleaning procedures and safety Responsible for collecting past due invoices from customers who have not paid their bills within Company policy or credit terms Must understand the complete line of chemicals and equipment products offered by the Company

Job duties to include some on-call hours in the evenings and on weekends, but mostly will consist of day trips during the week. Individual must have a good driving record and be willing to travel within the territory at least 50% of the time. Company provides cell phone and excellent benefits package. DME experience a plus, but not required. Prefer a medical background, but this is an excellent entry level position for a career-minded hard-working individual. Will train. Excellent growth opportunity for the right individual. Basic Position: Deliver, pick-up and service specialty bed and oxygen equipment mainly for home care patients in the surrounding area. Will also assist in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse and equipment. Must be at least 21 years of age and up, due to driving a company vehicle. Must be able to lift 75 lbs on a continuous basis, and a lot of walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling. Educates the patient and/or caregiver(s) on the safe use and maintenance of our equipment. Completes all necessary paperwork to be returned to dispatch once delivery/setup/pickup/repair is finished via hand held scanner. Must be a team player and work with customer service reps/dispatch daily to complete deliveries/setup in a timely manner. Positives: Company vehicle and fuel card provided to use while making deliveries and calls. Cell phone provided.
