Senior Accountant

Details: Senior Accountant Description Vorpahl Fire and Safety, a family owned fire and safety distributor in Green Bay, is looking to fill the above position. As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for leading all accounting activities, identifying and leading process improvement, performing research and analysis, along with debt collection and general supervision of the company’s IT needs. Primary Responsibilities 1. Optimize cash management including banking and depository relationships to maximize company’s cash position 2. Develop physical Inventory procedures and variance analysis including inventory reconciliations 3. Assist with internal/external audits 4. General accounting responsibilities, including journal entries and preparing monthly account reconciliations and schedules 5. Oversee the computer/software system and trouble shoot any problems 6.
