Details: Manufacturer of food and medical packaging products - blow film operation The Director of Global Quality executes and manages Company-wideQuality procedures, programs, and policies. This position oversees company quality activities in all facilities toensure that all company, customer and regulatory standards are met. Duties and Responsibilities: Establishes, monitors, and maintains quality procedures, programs and policies to ensure the highest possible quality standards. Monitors and ensures appropriate ongoing company-wide regulatory compliance with applicable laws, standards, etc. Proactively builds and manages a high performing team through assessment of current personnel and reorganization (if needed) to optimize department's efficiency and allow for company growth. Acts as company liaison with the different regulatory agencies and customer’s auditing offices. Develops improved processes, procedures, methodologies, controls and overall best practices for the department and the operation to maximize efficiencies. Establishes strong working relationships with customers by being responsive to needs and requests and demonstrating the strength of the company's quality functions. Executes quality action plans to meet First Time Quality goals. This includes performing root cause analysis when issues arise and setting a course of action with operations to prevent recurrence. Partners with Sales departments and Customers in a strategic manner to achieve required quality control standards which meet and exceed customer's expectations. Works with purchasing, production, engineering, and senior management to establish and improve quality standards for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods. Reviews and assists in the development of company and plant specific Quality manuals and standards.
