Director of Finance / Controller

Details: This job is in Tuscaloosa, AL. Directs the activities concerned with the general business operations, accounting, statistical reporting, preparation of Financial Statements, cost reports and other analytical/accounting functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Plans, organizes, and coordinates financial policies for the System to control receipt of revenue, expenditure of funds and conservation of assets. Oversees monthly accounting close process ensuring accurate accounting, appropriate estimates, and adherence to deadlines. Provides logical explanations for monthly, quarterly, and annual variances in general ledger accounts and statistics. Participates in annual and periodic bond rating agency reviews. Works with CFO to assess cash flow including tracking and forecasting capital needs. Monitors investment portfolio ensuring adherence to policy. 10. Keeps abreast of changes in the industry by participating in professional affiliations, educational programs, seminars and periodicals. 11. Oversees preparation of annual cost reports and other third party payor data requests. 12. Monitors and ensures accuracy of Medicaid Uncompensated Care information and related audits. 13. Plans, coordinates and prepares for year-end audits by Public Accounting firm and third party auditors. 14. Reviews performance of subordinates and takes corrective action where warranted. 15. Oversees technical administration/monitoring of the contract pharmacy 340B drug pricing program. Additionally, is an active member of the internal 340B Oversight Committee. 16. Actively participates in various Committees and Teams as requested. 17. Other duties and projects as deemed appropriate by the CFO. 18. Develop and adjust department goals that are aligned with the DCH Mission, Vision and Strategic Goals. 19. Manages departmental budget 20. Interviews, selects, hires, and retains employees, including other management positions 21. Ensures orientation and training for employees, including other management positions 22. Manages performance, including other management positions 23. Promotes, demotes, or transfers employees to meet organizational needs, including other management positions 24. Details: Summary: Rust-Oleum Corporation has an immediate opening for a night-shift Machine Operator at its production facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, adjusting, and performing quality control (QC) checks while tending to machines & hand-fills to package paint in a safe, consistent and efficient manner according to specifications. In addition, the Machine Operator is responsible for reading and following the bill of materials, preparing components, following order specifications to determine material and equipment requirements, and assisting with the QC process. Responsibilities: Operate all filling/packaging equipment as assigned in a safe and efficient manner. Assure that all product quality standards are met or exceeded. Perform routine line maintenance and/or adjustments. Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned. Responsible for the daily output, quality and operating reports. Communicate needs and issues to department supervisor. Follow all company policies and procedures. Supply leadership and guidance to all associates assigned to his/her crew, in particular on the assigned production line. Required Skills: Requirements & Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience with CNC Operations preferred. Ability to read and fully understand batch cards and instructions to effectively communicate directions to other associates. Ability to do basic math. Ability to read and understand various meters, scales and electronic read outs. Ability to enter computer data. Industrial experience is desirable. Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to coordinate the work of others. Ability to solve problems in a team environment. Ability to lift 75 pounds.
