Details: Summary : Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety printing presses and rewinder machines by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Interprets job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met. Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products which fail to meet standards. Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Develops capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times. Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 12-15 employees in the Production Department.
