Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Also assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material in manufacturing plant, or on construction project by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Proficient in diagnosing mechanical problems, dismantling mechanical equipment, securing correct parts repairing and reassembling mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, agitators, centrifuges, conveyors, and gearboxes. Reads blueprints, manufacturers' manuals and specification sheets to identify parts by number and cross reference as needed. Layout, drill and tap pump bases and foundations. Identify and properly use wire rope, nylon slings, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved. Attaches pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms with bolts and clamps. Attaches load with grappling devices such as loops, wires, ropes, and chains to crane hook. Rig as needed for the removal/installation of the following: (a) compressors, (b) gearboxes, (c) centrifuges, (d) tanks, (e) Ion exchangers, (f) all types of pumps, (g) screens, (h) piping, and (i) structural steel. Gives directions to Crane Operator or Flagman engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and material handled. Operate mobile hydraulic cranes. Operate all trucks, including winch truck. Build complex scaffolds and work platforms. Change packing and trays in towers and columns. Transport compressed gas cylinders and drums throughout plant. Details: TEKsystems has partnered with a local Pharmaceutical company in Madison, WI, in search of a Sr. Project Manager. The projects that this PM will manage are still to be determined. Our client is looking for someone who fits the culture and could, in the future, be considered for conversion to permanent staff if appropriate. The candidate will have significant project experience, preferably with Pharma and will have worked on many different project types. The ideal candidate will be experienced both from a Functional and Performance perspective. The candidate will need to have good experience of working with Global teams - a signifiant portion of the team are based in the UK as well as the Vendor head office. Job Duties: Administer systematic time tracking for all project tasks, supporting budgetary and resource management goals. Maintain and update project status report and run weekly status meetings. Adopt, enhance and improve department processes. Responsible for regular reporting of project portfolio health to business and IT executive management communicating consolidated project milestones and deliverables as part of detailed project status reporting. Project Status reporting would include status and insights on critical path impact, dependencies, milestones, resources, cost, work breakdown structures, etc. Work in a highly matrix environment across cross-functional teams in both the technology and business areas. Simultaneously lead several projects with varied complexity, multiple deliverables, team members and audiences requiring ongoing prioritization and relationship management. Manage IT application development projects around systems and data architecture. Responsible for multiple capital budget projects simultaneously. Update and consolidate functionality in various systems related to provider demographics. Heavily involved with setting up recurring status meetings with the business, fielding questions from the business, as well as handling issues that arise from the business. Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues. Gather and update project materials, completing budgeting, forecasting, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents. Speak to details of the project to both the business and technical teams from beginning to end of all projects. Obtaining maximum value from Information Technology project management services. Providing risk management and issue/problem resolution as required. Requirements: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of IT Project Management experience. 5+ years of working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle. 5+ years of data gathering/analysis and writing system requirements.
