Works with A/RStaff Member on maintaining the results of the A/R aging and performingcollection calls and working with collection firm as needed. Workswith A/R software TermSync and oversees extensions of credit and approvescredit limit overrides. Workswith Route Accounting Staff member to maintain timeliness and accuracy of therouting reconciliations process and invoicing. Review LOADREC and invoice corrections. ProcessesSTAR2 data. Responsiblefor resolving billing/payment discrepancies and other inquiries from vendors. Responsiblefor coordinating the mechanics of the monthly closing including the “AutoPosting”functions of the MWB subsidiary financial records. Preparesstandard, recurring and nonrecurring journal entries. Preparesmonthly reconciliation of selected general ledger accounts. Reconcilesgeneral disbursement bank accounts. Compilesand analyzes financial information to document transactions and preparerecording entries. Responsiblefor establishing, maintaining, and coordinating the implementation ofaccounting procedures and accounting control procedures. Assists Accountingstaff and Director of Finance with monthly and end of year closes. Participatesas directed in annual financial budgeting. Assistswith preparation of annual budgets including capital, revenue, payroll,non-payroll expenses budgets. Analyzesand reviews departmental budgets and expenses. Enforcesand adheres to all company policies, safety policy and standard operatingprocedures, effectively disciplining employees as needed. Assistsdirect reports in identifying risks and issues of significance ensuring thatfailure/root cause analysis is performed and appropriate changes implemented. Creates and maintains effective communicationbetween management and office employees. Responsible for absolute maintenance ofconfidentiality when dealing with records having to do with sales,profitability, payroll, customer accounts, and matters related to benefits,health and other personnel issues. Works with Human Resources relative to hiring,termination, and disciplining procedures for accounting / office employees. Also coordinates with Human Resources withpayroll maintenance. Hasa strong understanding of the functionality of the VIP System. Workson departmental and companywide process improvement projects as needed. Maintains administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications and treatments. Hires nursing staff, oversee the provision of orientation/training by a qualified Director of Education and retains qualified staff to carry out nursing programs and services. Reviews employee performance and conducts periodic performance appraisals timely. Develops and implements the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident and patient population. Evaluates current and potential residents and patients to determine and maintain living center's ability to provide appropriate level of care. Maintains regular and ongoing communication with the living center's Medical Director to identify educational needs for staff and provide quality care and services to meet the needs of residents. Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations. Manages clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes. Conducts daily Clinical Start-up meeting with the interdisciplinary team to review resident and patient status. Attends the weekly at risk meeting and reviews modifications to residents' and patient's plan of care. Oversees and monitors the Resident Assessment process for accuracy, attends care planning conferences periodically to determine compliance with care planning guidelines. Collects, reviews and analyzes clinical outcome data and determines trends. Brings identified concerns to the QA&A committee for development of appropriate plans of action.
