Support the daily and turnaround maintenance work activities. Provide support for and input into the maintenance strategy. Evaluate condition based monitoring results. Provide input / prioritization for future equipment repair strategy in developing the maintenance budget. Identify one time and reoccurring significant repairs. Work with plant personnel to prioritize. Ensure operators are trained on the startup, shutdown, and operation of all plant equipment to insure reliable operations. Ensure appropriate operational equipment procedures exist. Participate in Root Cause Investigation’s, where maintenance opportunities are identified or maintenance triggers are met. Define / Approve the recommended repair scope for equipment sent to an external vendor for repair. Identify any necessary hold points for quality assurance inspection. Initiate and ensure the completion of the deferral process for registered equipment needing an extension of the need date caused by maintenance activities.
