Details: The main function of the Maintenance Parts Clerk is to support the Maintenance Team in all functions related to maintaining all production equipment and spare parts. The Maintenance Parts Clerk will be responsible in supporting the machine mechanics in ordering and managing spare parts, vendor services, and building services. Take on the responsibility of ordering all spare parts for the Maintenance Department and manage these orders through the system to ensure receipt of all orders and payment to vendors. This will free up the machine mechanics to spend more time on the production floor, which will decrease down time when equipment repairs arise. Update all technical SOPs for the Maintenance Department (preventative maintenance, machine operating procedures, etc.) with support from the Engineering team. Act as the main contact person for all vendors that support facilities maintenance (fire protection, pest control, compactor maintenance, HVAC, boiler maintenance, fire control, etc.), and maintain a file of all service and ensure that all vendors provide service to RCW per the frequency described in the vendor preventative maintenance schedule. Create a spare parts inventory program in order to document all spare parts on hand, determining part levels, and ordering accordingly. Create a program for all mechanics to train on the production equipment and manage the corresponding documentation. Any new improvements or changes that result from this training will be tracked by the Maintenance Clerk for follow up. Assist in writing Change Control forms when a change is scheduled by a mechanic to ensure that the appropriate documentation is collected. Find alternative sources for commonly used parts in an effort to identify cost savings for the maintenance department. Ensure that all vendors are set up in SAP and have the appropriate documentation on file if they are service vendors completing work on site at any ReadyCare Plant.

Job Summary: This Thermal Systems Engineer will work as part of a thermal systems team and will be responsible for concept development, design and design verification of heat exchanger and fluid flow components for application to global refrigeration products. Typical components are round tube plate fin (RTPF) and micro-channel (MCHE) coils, brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHE) and shell & tube refrigerant evaporators as well as condensers for commercial HVAC products. The ability to develop new technology and design tools and apply them to the development and implementation of new heat transfer components will be a critical requirement for this position. Core Job Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): • Conduct new technology, productivity and new product development projects per established processes to design new products or components and/or improve the function, reliability or cost of existing products or components. • Develop and improve tools and processes used for the design of new heat exchange components. • Perform and document engineering analysis required to design, verify performance, and reliability of HVAC components and products. • Plan and direct laboratory tests to support product design and verification. Interpret laboratory data. • Work with suppliers to obtain component designs that meet product requirements. • Lead ad hoc teams of engineers and others through short duration projects. Responsibilities include project planning, chairing team meetings, maintaining project deliverables, and presentation of status and results to other employees and/or management. • Work effectively across functional lines (development, production, design, marketing, suppliers) • Must be a strong team player with ability to work both as a team player or a team leader. • Ability to work Monday through Friday on a schedule that is compatible with the work schedules of co-workers and complies with current engineering core work hour guidelines and to support laboratory, drafting, and remote design center operations outside of core business hours as required. • Will direct the work of draftsmen and designers. • Ability to travel both domestically and abroad up to two weeks at a time. Able to attain necessary visa for travel when applicable. Expected travel time ~ 10%. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of engineering work experience is required. • Master’s Degree in Engineering is preferred. Essential Skills or Knowledge: • Fundamental knowledge of vapor compression HVAC technologies and components using various high and low pressure HCFC, HFC and HFO refrigerants. • Knowledge of single and two phase fluid flow as it relates to design of air to refrigerant or water to refrigerant evaporators and condensers and ability to develop physically based models of their performance. • Knowledge of the design, performance prediction and cost analysis process for air to refrigerant or water to refrigerant heat exchangers applied to the process of refrigerant evaporation and condensation. (Typical components are RTPF or MCHE coils, BP and shell & tube evaporators for water chillers of the falling film, pool, or DX type and shell & tube water-cooled condensers.) • Good understanding of the application of computer simulation tools and theory to HVAC system design. • Experience with application of various components used within HVAC systems such as coils, compressors, motors and fans. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient with MS Office. • Quality and customer service orientation. • Must be a self-starter with a high energy level and a high commitment to career. • Must have the ability to quickly and efficiently understand, condense and organize information necessary to make engineering decisions. • Ability to make progress by producing deliverables and completing projects in a multi-tasking environment (several concurrent assignments). • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem solving skills. Details: To complete various microbiological testing methods in a laboratory environment. Must document information of the various pieces of equipment; receive samples and verify information on micro samples entering the lab. Complete calibrations on all instruments on a routine daily basis or as specified. Communicate with appropriate departments about missing samples or errors. Prepare samples for microbial analysis, including cutting of carrot product and maceration. Label, inoculate and incubate Petrifilm plates. Must do interpretation, counting and reading of due Petrifilm plates. Must keep record and computer logging of microbial results information.
