Designer Job Responsibilities Your specific duties as a Designer will include: During the RFQ proposal phase of the PACCAR MUX program, it was recognized and reported that winning this program would create a shortfall in the VC staffing. As such, the program BOC included the hiring of 4 additional FTEs. The need for 2 Electrical FTEs was worked-around and at this point, no longer required. However, the need for the 2 Temporary Mechanical Design-Drafting resources was highlighted and deemed critical to meeting the PACCAR deliverable schedule The program was awarded in Feb 2015 and after reviewing the program deliverables and schedule it was determined that there would be over 40 new tools necessary to complete this program (estimating 32 new molded plastic parts, 8 unique printed circuit board assemblies and 8 new fabricated metal parts). Each new drawing requires drafting, tolerance stack-up analysis, detailing for tooling, redrawing to accommodate tool design, first article validation, uploading to Enovia and final PPAP validation. Reside in Menomonee Falls and work directly with the program MEs – This is the most effective and productive for NPD; Working alongside the VC ME’s is critical to meeting the program deliverable timing. Expertise in design using Pro-Engineer (Creo version) – This avoids OJT and ensures the highest level of productivity Conduct Tolerance Stacking analysis & ensure drawings are properly dimensioned – This off-loads some of the more tedious activities from the VC staff MEs

Responsibilities : The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for all or part of these areas: Preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment Unscheduled maintenance on machines and equipment The list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and all other plant areas. Troubleshoot and diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties. Make repairs or adjustments to keep equipment in production. Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement or purchased parts. Perform skilled operations such as filing and aligning bearings, spindles, and shafts; adjust feed and limit mechanisms, gibs, and ways. Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting, and aligning operations. Perform maintenance on the buildings, facilities, and other appropriate areas. Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and all other equipment as appropriate (w/ vendors) Maintain required maintenance logs and files. Perform routine housekeeping activities in the department and ensure adherence to established safety procedures and requirements.
