Senior Human Resources Generalist

Details: The QTI Group is conducting a search for a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist for our client, the largest distributor of primary aluminum alloys in North America, in Racine, WI. This is a hybrid position that requires high level HR experience, decision making skills, and the ability to work with a diverse work force. This is a direct-hire opportunity that our client is looking to fill ASAP. Salary is negotiable and based on experience. This position does require native level proficiency in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities: Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Maintains knowledge of industry trends. Recruits, interviews, and coordinates pre-employment screenings for new employees to fill vacant positions. Administers FMLA administration for the Plant to ensure compliance. Creates and maintains Plant’s job descriptions. Recommends, develops and implements personnel policies and procedures. Maintains Plant-specific employee handbook policies and procedures. Selects and coordinates temporary staffing agencies. Coordinates new employee on-boarding and orientation. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefit programs. Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers benefits programs for Plant personnel. Keeps records of benefits plans participation for Plant, including enrollments, terminations, COBRA and employee statistics for governmental reporting. Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development and training. Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Assists with accident investigations and prepares reports for WC insurance carrier, when appropriate. Establishes and maintains all department records and reports. Maintains Plant employee directory. Manages the transfer and disposal of records as per the documented retention schedule.

Sales Manager (Retail Sales / Marketing) Job Responsibilities As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the store program and performance improvement, as well as managing functions within parameters of KPIs. You will be engaged in retail inside sales, marketing, and business development by providing quality customer service. Additional responsibilities of Sales Manager include: Store Execution Ensuring assigned stores are to company standards; following opening and closing procedures; ensuring policies and state regulations are followed; maintaining par stock inventory levels for assigned stores; managing Open Orders daily to reserve stock; verifying incoming and outgoing merchandise; bagging floor models for transfers and / or customers Balancing books nightly and period end; communicating with Store Management to keep them informed; assisting in the administrative functions of the store; completing other projects and specials assignments as requested by supervisor Other duties as assigned Sales Administration Driving sales to meet or exceed budget; executing the company’s selling program; determining pricing within company guidelines on merchandise; calling guests for delivery reminders; completing follow-up guest calls and thank you cards Maintaining awareness of competitor’s advertisements and services offered; resolving guest issues as needed; completing assigned training and learning materials as required for advancement opportunities; participating in company/vendor training classes to remain current on products, offerings, and programs Partner Merchandising Ensuring merchandise and POP is current and displayed appropriately Executing the current merchandising plan Ensuring consistency of store pricing Managing the movement of damaged, discontinued, obsolete, and slow moving merchandise
