Tests are performed during manufacturing process after department completes tasks and before moving to the next step of the assembly process. Use the non-conformity report to track any issues. Report any possible defects and failed tests to management. Responsible for the cleanliness, organization and maintenance of their area of work Maintain safe work practices and adhere to environmental, safety, and health standards. TheRegistered Dietician position is an amazing and exciting opportunity to bepart of a growing, national team of renowned physicians and clinicians inproviding expert residential and day treatment clinical care and exceptionalcustomer service. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include, but may not be limited to the following: Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining high standards of clinical nutrition programs Plans, evaluates and conducts nutrition intervention/education programs Plans well balanced meals in accordance with published nutritional standards Ensures compliance with regulating agency requirements Completes an assessment of all clients within 24-48 hours of admission to the program Documents dietary recommendations based on the assessment Monitors and documents client’s compliance with nutritional recommendations Communicates client’s individual nutritional needs and progress with the treatment team Ensures that clients have menu choices and assists clients with appropriate menu selections when necessary Ensures that the Food Service Department receives information on unusual food requests and/or preparation instructions Ensures that menus are updated regularly to be current with research relating to nutritional care Participates in the discharge planning process related to nutritional needs of the individual clients and documents in the aftercare plan Maintains current knowledge and implements nutritional care according to age and gender, and the cultural, spiritual, medical, and psychosocial needs/requirements of the client. Educates the client’s family regarding their nutritional needs as indicated. Provides for individual client’s food preferences and for food preparation according to their ethnic background/customs. Monitors client’s weight, height, BMI, and development for each age group. Counsels and educates clients individually and in groups on appropriate diets, menu planning and preparation of food to treat an illness or disease and/or to enhance and maintain optimum health. Acts in a consulting capacity for any nutrition-related activities in the food service department. Consults with medical practitioners and other health professionals to manage the dietary and nutrition needs of patients Select, train and supervise workers who plan, prepare and serve meals with basic understanding of the treatment services provided for clients with eating disorders Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance Develop curriculum and prepare manuals, visual aids, course outlines, and other materials used in teaching Develops food and nutrition policies, as indicated Participates in interdepartmental meetings as indicated Develops and participates in quality improvement activities as indicated Addresses consumer complaints in an efficient and professional manner Any and all work related functions as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or administration.
