The Lean Operations Consultant develops and leads the CI (Continuous Improvement) process to ensure that the most effective elements of modern management and manufacturing philosophies are implemented to help drive performance in cost, losses, cycle times, quality and safety as well as allowing the business to handle a greater diversity of demand. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Reviews and improves business and production processes as well as support systems that will maintain and improve competitiveness. Coordinates efforts ensuring projects reflect overall organization priorities and needs. Leads, develops and helps execute breakthrough operational improvements to achieve step level changes in processes. Drives current projects, identifies future projects, clarifies responsibilities and accountabilities, and measures results. • Develops manages and owns the productivity goals for the plant’s annual plan.
