Assesses, develops, and evaluates opportunities by developing relationships with end use customers, consulting engineers, contractors, developers and utility company prospects. Participation and representation of Fabick in all industry related events, conferences and associations as well as those of Caterpillar and Allied vendor partners. •Compose quote for customers. Review and evaluate technical specifications and/or customer defined requirements in order to offer solutions in the form of equipment and/or services. Prepare detailed cost estimates to include Fabick product support services in addition to Caterpillar and vendor equipment as necessary to formulate a customer proposal. Provide customer proposals which include bill of materials to define price and scope for equipment and services, including technical and commercial notes, qualifications and product lead times. Include Fabick Terms and Conditions of Sale with all customer quotations. Maintain electronic records on shared network copies of customer sales quotations and cost estimates. •Finalize acceptance of quote. Upon customer issuance of a confirming purchase commitment of Fabick’s proposal, the Account Manager shall obtain the approval of the Commercial Sales Manager prior to final acceptance of the customer order. Appropriate WI State tax exemption certificate (if applicable) shall be requested at time of confirming order and Account Manager shall also seek approval of Fabick Credit Manager related to customer credit worthiness. •Coordinate with customer and project management to ensure accuracy of order. All pertinent sales order documents shall be submitted to the Commercial Sales Manager for final review including any customer contracts and terms and conditions of purchase. Sales Manager shall advise Account Manager of all noted issues, challenges and/or discrepancies with respect to customer order documents and direct Account Manager to confirm in writing to customer same. Sales Manager shall assign internal Project Manager to manage sale/project for Account Manager on behalf of Fabick. Account Manager shall review all customer order/project details of scope and price with Project Manager including milestone due dates for technical submittals and equipment delivery commitments. Account Manager and Project Manager shall review customer/consultant returned shop drawing and comments upon receipt by Fabick. All changes to scope and or price (change orders) of project/sale as identified by Project Manager or Account Manager shall be confirmed in writing by Account Manager. Account Manager shall coordinate customer required delivery, start-up and test dates on all projects/sales. •Maintain all on-going Sales and Project related information. Regularly review potential sales opportunities with Commercial Sales Manager. Participate in monthly project status review meetings with Sales Manager and Project Managers. Confirm all pertinent customer and vendor communications and correspondence in writing and maintain copies of same related to projects in project folders. Coordinate with Project Management customer requested owner instruction and training dates. Resolve all customer related collection and/or back-charge issues related to the sale or project. •Performs other miscellaneous duties as directed by management. Review SOS reports for all engine products covered under the CSA program and advise customer of potential areas of concern. Provide customer with an action plan to correct problems. •Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the management. Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations. Verify that safety equipment is available to employees, and monitor their use of such equipment to ensure proper fit and use. Prepare and review specifications and orders for the purchase of safety equipment, ensuring that proper features are present and that items conform to health and safety standards. Prepare documents to be used in legal proceedings, testifying in such proceedings when necessary. Must work with OSHA, MSHA, and other pertinent federal and state regulatory agencies. Manages and implements Supervisor and Manager Health and Safety program, and Workers Compensation. Will conduct site specific safety audits, and manage audit reporting.
