Research and recommend new technologies across platforms Define and enforce standards and strategies for security, database objects, and backup/recovery May develop and drive technical road map for data and development infrastructure In conjunction with Project Management, install, upgrade and configure complex database management system software that has broad business impact Implement security defining standards Validate that all physical database designs satisfy business requirements, and meet standards to database objects, data integrity, security, performance and recoverability. Monitor capacity and performance, troubleshooting and proactively resolving a wide variety of problems. Troubleshoot and drive solutions on a wide variety of complex problems impacting the broad business community. Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor's degree preferred. A Master's degree in related IT field or/and certification in related DBMS technology is a plus. Ten years of directly related experience. Strong project management skills. Advanced knowledge of database design to produce sound logical and physical data layers. Enterprise architecture design skills and knowledge of various multi layer systems such as OS platforms, network protocol, applications and data layers. Advanced knowledge of data modeling tools Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle Database Platforms Experience with Master Data, ETL, Data Quality, and Business Intelligence systems Experience in data governance programs and processes Experience in both relational and dimensional data modeling Oracle Certified Master or SQL Server certification a plus Proven ability to interview project stakeholders and ascertain requirements Strong verbal and excellent written communication skills; strong attention to detail Ability to manage through change and ambiguity CoreLogic offers an empowered work environment that encourages creativity, initiative and professional growth and provides a competitive salary and benefits package.
