Hatchery Supervisor

Details: POSITION DUTIES: Ensure all aspects of hatchery operations are in compliance with Live Production SOPs, duck-well-being guidelines, biosecurity guidelines thru monitoring of production processes, egg quality day-old quality and taking appropriate action if required. Provide assistance to Hatchery Manager in staff management in terms of training, scheduling, man-hours, safety, etc. Consult with Hatchery Manager on employee issues, when necessary. Provide guidance and supervision to staff. Monitor staff performance and staff development. Perform duties related to hiring, assigning, training, disciplining and terminating hatchery employees with HR consultation. Effectively communicate with various departments and individuals within the company regarding egg/duck production, schedule attainment requirements, existing issues, etc. Responsible for data collection and generating reports accurately and on-time. Ensure proper operation, inspection, cleaning, monitoring and repair of all hatchery equipment. Perform minor repairs as required.
